Agile Scrum Master-Assistant Vice President, Global Exchange
Education : Less Than High School Experience : 12 Description : State Street is seeking a highly qualified individual to lead technology and development teams for the State Street Global Exchange IT Agile Office (AO). The Agile Scrum master will be responsible for the development and oversight of multiple agile teams and initiatives with concurrent work streams with the ability to drive multiple development teams and this role will work closely with product owners, application and database engineers, in an agile framework, refining technical designs, requirements, and stories to deliver value added product solutions. Must have a technical bent, with a genuine interest and understanding of modern database architecture, DevOps practices and software development practices.Responsibilities:Serve as a scrum master using agile best practices, as well as pragmatic ingenuity, to drive efficient, quality and consistently predictable delivery of shippable code incrementallyWork with product owners to refine, groom and prioritize delivery team backlogs, with goals of fully estimated business quarter length backlogsWork with product owners to inform priority decisions and maintenance of Product RoadmapsRun all delivery team agile ceremonies with an emphasis on making them not only productive, but interesting and fully interactive so as to produce the best and most comprehensive solutions to development requirements.Work with teams to self-organize and enable them to continuously improve focused on business value delivery.Work with product owners and stakeholders to define and refine requirements and storiesWork with delivery teams to flesh out all technical design requirements and corresponding Quality Assurance testing needs of large or complex systems.Collaborate and coordinate across the organization to solve and sequence architectural and inter-team dependenciesAct in accordance with Risk Excellence and role model Ethical behavior and decision making as part of our Way Ahead foundation.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsB.A. degree in Technology, Business, Accounting or legal related field (advanced degree preferred).
