As a Distribution Associate, you will:

Serve our customers by giving them exactly what they need when they need it. We aren't just offering a job,but inviting you to begin a career. Starting in this role you will learn our processes, products and industry which will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed at Summit.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
• Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit’s commitment to a safe workplace.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Time management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
• Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change
• Strong customer service orientation

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
• Aptitude for learning

Physical Challenges:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment
