We are looking for a results-driven intern with a passion for analyzing large and complex data sets and converting them into the information that drives business decisions. A successful intern will be a quick and dynamic learner who is able to manage multiple lines of responsibility including client support, revenue management, and supplier content analysis.
The Supplier Management team ensures that our clients have access to the highest quality and widest variety of rewards from gift cards to travel and beyond. This role will be on the Travel Supplier Management group, which specifically focuses on the support of our travel rewards offering for clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Management
Assist in crafting, implementing, monitoring, and adjusting revenue management strategies
Maintain optimal pricing and competitiveness through rate auditing and benchmarking
Content Improvements
Improve supplier content displayed to customers by collaborating with internal departments and external teams
Define and report on content KPI’s and customer experience for travel supplier content
Investigate and implement solutions to improve travel supplier content
Data & Analytics
Prepare reports for management team defining the problem, documenting the analysis, and recommending courses of action in order to determine the best outcomes
Provide effective reporting on the effectiveness and success of each exercise
Assist with data mining necessary to provide accurate and meaningful competitive audits
Client and Supplier Support
Support in providing client and supplier deliverables
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other client and supplier KPI tracking tools
REQUIREMENTS
Students pursuing an Undergraduate Degree, or graduating Seniors - Business, Economics, Math, Marketing Analytics, Statistics or similar
Demonstrates excellent communication skills - is comfortable sharing analysis insights and presenting key findings to leadership teams
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Role based in Eden Prairie, MN
KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
Strong Microsoft Office suite skills, specifically Excel and Power Point
Strong math aptitude and reasoning
Familiarity with SQL or other technical language preferred
Curious and motivated to learn
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task effectively
Ability to prioritize to meet various needs
Ability to handle aggressive goals and deadlines
