    Commercial Mortgage Loan Analyst #4638 Bellevue, WA Area of Interest Mortgage Office Locations Bellevue, WA Job Description Summary Loan Production Support -- A Loan Analyst will aid in the origination, underwriting and servicing of commercial real estate loan investments that meet the company's volume, yield and quality criteria. Achieve this by working closely with Loan Originators, Loan Servicers, Mortgage Banker Originators and Analysts, Risk Analysts and Department Manager. Support will primarily be through analyzing property and borrowers associated with new loan inquiries and refinances of current loans, drafting loan applications, performing mortgage loan due diligence, preparing draft loan approval documents and tracking loan inquiries. Responsibilities * Gather, organize and analyze data for loan approval including property economics, borrower/sponsors, location, current market rents/vacancy and leasing. 30% * Prepare draft loan approval form using company norms, including a preliminary assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of prospective commercial real estate transactions, for review by Originator, Risk Analyst, and Management. 25% * Complete economic valuation and historical property analysis of new loan inquiries using company standards. More senior incumbents will also identify most of the strengths, weaknesses and mitigating factors of requests. 15% * Provide feedback and education to mortgage bankers to facilitate the timely submission of information for loan quotes and approvals. 5% * Prepare draft loan applications using quote information for review by Originators and Mortgage Loan Closers. Identify and include alternate terms/language, when necessary. 10% * Track loans from inquiry through approval process. 5% * Analyze and retain existing loans that are open to prepayment and that are at risk of paying off. This involves gathering information about the loan from the mortgage banker and the current loan file, analyzing the transaction and presenting possible quote to team for review. Determine if we will quote a new rate or refinance as necessary with close supervision of manager and/or Originator. 10% Job Requirements Required/Preferred Qualifications Education Required: BA/BS Degree is preferred but not required. Minimum Years of Related Work Experience Required: Two years of work experience is preferred. Specific Industry and/or Specialty Experience Required: Commercial Real Estate knowledge is preferred but not required. Skills and Abilities Required: Customer service experience or training. Oral and written skills enabling effective one-on-one communication. Ability to work closely with others in a team environment. Ability to manage time and work independently to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills. Attention to details and accuracy. Strong basic arithmetic skills. Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet. Education/Experience/Licensing Training/Skills/Abilities PREFERRED: Experience with financial services industries preferred. Contact With Others In this position a loan analyst will support the loan origination group and work internally with the closing team, risk analyst, loan servicing, legal counsel and the manager. The external contact will include our mortgage bankers and the borrowers/guarantors. Impact Decisions have moderate impact to department or organization.
