Member of the Lean Improvement Team identifying sources of waste through interviews, process mapping and reviews of analytics reporting. This position works closely with business teams and mid-level leadership in support of business process stability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing operations processes by interviewing associates and leaders.
• Performing time studies on key processes and validating sources of data.
• Conducting process mapping and analytical reviews of data from associate operations through system output.
• Outlining current business reporting methodology from the source of data to their report types.
• Collaborating with the business on the potential for additional metrics and key performance indicators.

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred Major: Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Mathematics. Two or more years of college experience.
• Understanding and ability to conduct data extraction
• Interest in improving processes and creating efficiencies
• Demonstrates natural curiosity about what drives business trends and customer behaviors
• Must be comfortable with constantly evolving environment and rapidly changing priorities
• Must be Business-Centric, Data-Oriented, Analytically Minded and Results Driven
• Basic understanding of product metrics such as conversion rates, response rates, ROI, etc.
• Basic Knowledge of SQL Server
• Knowledge of Tableau preferred
• Ability to identify appropriate datasets to be able to support analytics
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Developing critical thinking skills to scope and frame problems
• Displays excellent judgment to understand and support business needs
• Must be able to effectively plan and manage responsibilities autonomously
• Effective communication skills to manage expectations and challenges
• Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills to effectively work with teammates and business partners
• Must be a natural self-starter with ability to work autonomously
• Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed.
