Department Overview North American Credit Cards and Merchant Services (NACC&MS) organization was formed in Fall 2011 and brings together the credit cards and merchant services businesses in Canada and the US. TDs credit card products are distributed through the retail distribution network in the U.S. and Canada; on a national basis in Canada leveraging direct response channels; and, through hundreds of partnership programs with financial institutions, retailers, non-profit organization, sports teams, and other third party organizations. In addition, TD offers private label financing in the U.S. and Canada. Job Description The RCS L & D Designer/LMS Administrator is a key member of the RCS Merchant Training Team; providing oversight for the Learning Management System (LMS) and support for the production and maintenance of training materials and on-line LMS modules. Aids in the creation and editing of the companywide training content and development programs which impact the strategic goals of the business unit. Creates and updates a variety of learning materials based on the different delivery methods to develop curriculum and program materials. Assists Merchant trainers with assessing training needs and assists in measuring results. Responsible for the lifecycle maintenance of the training content/courses. This includes responsibility for LMS program/user setup, revisions to training materials, addition or deletion of content, approval of all training materials and changes, changes to activities or exercises, revisions to audio and scripting on video training content. Maintains version control and keeps updated content, in all its forms, organized. Creates and updates statistical reporting with training results. Course materials include Training manuals, handouts, job aids, assessments, questions, online video scripting, online audio and online video links. Requirements Responsible for the overall design, production and editing of all training materials, presentations, video courses and on-line learning modules on LMS site Creates training content for merchants/dealers and products and works with Senior Managers and/or Merchant Trainers to define effective business measures Designs, produces and maintains version control to keep course materials current and, videos updated in the training team database and on LMS site. Provides assistance to Merchant Trainers on creating new content and materials, as needed Interacts with control partners to obtain CAP approvals on all training materials Responsible for administration and maintenance of users on LMS site Sets up reporting on LMS system and provides training statistics/results as needed Performs LMS feature testing for training activities, monitors and reports on results, works with others on problem resolution Creates, maintains and distributes monthly statistical training reports/results to RCS team Responsible for managing the RCS Merchant training team email inbox May be engaged in the development of demo training materials/videos for other RCS products for the overall business unit Provides specialized knowledge of key design elements and related principles Executes and delivers on assigned tasks/activities from end to end for the training material/cycle Knows the need to negotiate and influence and continually builds these skills to implement in this role Independently develops and enhances a variety of curriculum, training programs, and materials using a variety of learning and delivery methods Recommends and prepares measurement and evaluation strategy for course to encourage effective feedback generation and integration into training programs Researches product, policy, and procedural changes from multiple Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Qualifications Bachelors degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below 3+ years in content development experience Prior LMS administration knowledge preferred High Proficiency in MS Office Demonstrated knowledge of training and adult education techniques is required Knowledge of training practices and principles of adult learning theory Can assess operational objectives and design appropriately targeted material in an efficient manner Proven presentation, facilitation, management and interpersonal skills Inclusiveness At TD, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and customers feel valued, respected and supported.
