We are seeking a dynamic professional to join a team of legal word processing and proofreading staff located in our Phoenix, Arizona service center. As a Graphics Specialist 2, you will provide real-time assistance to clients in support of their time-sensitive project requests on your designated shift. You will work together with a team of individuals in a 24/7 support environment in an effort to provide the highest level of customer service and quality. This is a challenging and rewarding position within our organization, supporting a prestigious international law firm. • The candidate should have an advanced skill set in Adobe Creative Cloud - InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop & Dreamweaver to develop design materials that include html email, infographics, web elements and to create graphics for use in presentations including templates, backgrounds, information graphics, metaphorical graphics, and diagrams • The candidate should have an advanced skill set in PowerPoint and Word • The candidate should be comfortable using applications that include DocX, iManage, ChemDraw, Litera, Kofax & Visio • The candidate should be comfortable communicating with senior-level clients in order to understand their concepts and interpret them visually. Excellent oral and written communication skills, high level of customer service • Ability to work thoroughly and independently, with high attention to detail • Thorough understanding of the importance of brand and ability to work within established standards • Ensure that a smooth handover occurs with global marketing/design teams • Ability to work as part of a team within a fast-moving environment • Experience in a deadline-driven environment is essential and you must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects • Ability to work closely with firm members to correct, draft and modify drawings and illustrations submitted with patent, trademark and PCT applications • Experience converting drawings and illustrations from color to B&W • Ability to enhance and/or recreate poor-quality original graphics • Thorough understanding of drafting flow chart graphics
Required Skills
• 3-5 years experience in Graphic Design ideally within a law firm or Marketing Department • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required • Portfolio of work samples showing a clean, contemporary aesthetic and a proven track record in presentation design or a graphic design background in a legal or corporate environment • Excellent design sense and awareness of current design trends • Knowledge of print design
