Risk & Control technology within GFT is responsible for implementation of strategic solutions to manage compliance risk for Laws, Rules and Regulations (LRR), Policies, Assessments, risk assurance and reporting. There are many initiatives and journeys being started with objective to build target state solution through agile development process with multi-year deliverables and committed regulatory milestones. As part of these journeys, we are also responsible for working with various groups and teams from business systems, central data team and CDO to acquire data from business systems, perform data transformation and aggregation, and DQ validation of critical data elements (CDEs). We are also required to align ourselves with Citi enterprise-wide technology strategy, procedures and standards in the design and architecture of our compliance risk functions. We are expected to manage all inter-dependencies with other systems and integration with horizontal functions within risk & control to enable compliance risk users to effectively manage and monitor issues, breaches, and escalations across the firm. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
• Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
• Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
• Responsible for team management with onsite and offshore resource coordination and working closely with stakeholders from interdependent systems, infrastructure, common services team.
• Responsible for owning and managing the development process starting with analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
• Appetite to learn and adopt new technologies, and ready to absorb rapid changes with changing business processes and requirements.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Ability to co-ordinate teams across multiple locations and countries and resolve potential conflicts, and other competing priorities within the teams
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-8 years of hand on experience with BI tools
• Minimum 4 years experience with Tableau
• Ability to fine tune Tableau performance issues and architectural challenges
• Experience in relational databases Oracle, SQL, MongoDB experience in managing unstructured data
• Analytics using BigData is a plus
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Banking and Financial experience

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
