Responsibilities

A day in the life of a HYBRID Accounts Receivable Specialist:
Monitors, records, and reconciles Accounts Receivable and Bad Debt
Responsible for maintaining cash receipts in addition to initiating deposits and reconciling daily
Ensure all bank transactions (receipts and disbursements) are booked in the general ledger in a timely and accurate manner
Investigate and resolve payment related issues or disputes
Process accounts receivable workflow requests
Back-up for other accounting processes (i.e., claim and return premium checks and W-9s processing)
Perform other related duties and ad hoc projects / requests as assigned
Qualifications
You’re a great match for this role if you have:
Must reside in Illinois
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
1-2 years of experience in an accounting department; Accounts Receivable and / or insurance industry experience, preferred
Self-starter able to multi-task
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience working in NetSuite, Salesforce, and Diamond, preferred
Bilingual- fluent in English and Spanish, preferred
Flexible work from home options available.
