Citi Technology Infrastructure is responsible for providing the products and services that enable our Citi workforce, along with the majority of the financial solutions that our Citi customers rely on. We provide a critical technical foundation for the firm's operations through the infrastructure that runs business and general user computing services. During their 10-week internship Summer Analysts will get hands-on experience in CTI services, including End User, Application Hosting, Cloud, Client Infrastructure, and Enterprise Collaboration services.

During the 10-week CTI Summer Analyst Program, you will be placed in an organization within CTI and will be responsible for working to ensure that processes are implemented and utilized within Citi to facilitate peak operational functionality. While your responsibilities may range tremendously, the summer experience will include working on a key Citi project, outside the scope of your daily role, in a ‘Team Challenge’ with other summer analyst peers. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members, other groups within technology, as well external contacts. You will get hands-on experience while participating in the speaker series lectures, projects, training, networking, mentoring and community service events.

Your time here will look something like this...

Depending on your placement, you will gain experience in one of the following divisional areas with ongoing opportunities for exposure to all of the business areas:

Product Management

• Partners with Citi Architecture and Technology Engineering colleagues to define and continually optimize infrastructure products and services
• Ensures products are designed with the right technology and delivered at the right service standard and price for clients
• Employee Development and Software Asset Management are also within the Product Management organizational oversight
• Core Infrastructure Services
• Responsible for solutioning, deployment, and operating all core infrastructure platform
• Operates as an integrated utility focused on standardization, automation, and lean method
• Responsible for End User Experience traditional and virtual desktops, email, instant messaging, voice, audio, video and web conferencing and collaboration services.
• Citi Cloud is responsible for ensuring the organization achieves optimal operational performance dimensions that include client quality, control and cost) of our cloud solutions
• Infrastructure Service Delivery
• Responsible for aligning CTI products and services with business needs; strategic planning and operation of spend; solutioning and deployment; and operational management and performance

Product Operations

• Responsible for continual monitoring of infrastructure and application services
• Leads major incident response and the execution of operational tasks, such as daily batch and service health checks, with discipline and efficiency; and resolution of lower level problems
• Manages strategy and planning to ensure large scale projects are managed seamlessly across regions.

Business Operations

• Leads CTI’s global lean management initiative to maximize efficiencies across the business
• Business Management Operations builds and manages critical shared services and is the custodian of CTI strategy and governor of performance

Security Operations

• Responsible for the management of Critical Security Infrastructure
• Security Services and Monitoring on a Global level; including ethical hacking of our applications and infrastructure assets
• Information Security Incident Detection and Response and management of the perimeter security defenses

We want to hear from you if...

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Preferred disciplines include: Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Information Technology, or another analytical or technical-related program
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
• You have an interest working in a high tech global technology environment and have a fundamental understanding of technologies.
• You are a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.
