Current Internship Opportunities:

• Performance Monitoring and Analytics – responsible for engineering the critical technology infrastructure of Northern Trust that prevents outages and minimizes downtime
• Availability & Performance Monitoring – responsible for providing administration, technical solutions, critical incident management and daily operational support
• IT Service Management – responsible for providing operational support for Incident, Problem and Change Management.

Qualifications

Our ten-week summer internship program focuses on hiring rising senior undergraduate students who meet most or all of the following (depending on the role):

• Current full-time undergraduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Major area of study: Computer Science or Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics
• Working knowledge of common programming languages (such as Java, Python, C#, C/C++, UNIX® and SQL)
• Ability to be flexible, resourceful, quick to learn and adapt to change
• Solid written and active communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
