Assistant Merchandiser, Global Merchandise and E-Commerce Tesla 1,040 reviews - Brooklyn, NY The Assistant Merchandiser will work closely with our Global Merchandise and E-Commerce Team to assist with all Tesla Lifestyle and Apparel product set up and maintenance from design handoff to post market. Responsibilities Administrative support of the Global Merchandising and E-Commerce Team, ranging from any of the below activities: * Analyzing sales to make product recommendations, sales trends and identify customer needs * Competitive analysis to impact future development and pricing strategy. * P.O. entry and management for Tesla Lifestyle and Apparel products. * Handling item creation and managing product launch calendars. * Managing internal gifting catalogue and team wear requests ? as we transition into a fully automated system.

• Sample tracking / management for internal use and for ecommerce photoshoots. * Filtering internal ad hoc merch requests unrelated to revenue driving initiatives. * Participating in meetings with design and production. Requirements * Bachelors Degree preferred, or the equivalent in work experience and evidence of exceptional ability. * 1+ years merchandising, or other similar experience a bonus. * Experience writing and managing Purchase Orders a bonus. * Advanced MS application proficiency, especially Excel and PowerPoint. * Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and manage information across these systems. * Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional groups, delivering results with a very diverse group of contributors. * Strong analytical skills and an interest in working on data driven projects. * Ability to translate complex situations or roadblocks into simple, actionable solutions. * Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills. * Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. * Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative. * Relishes in a fast paced environment and is effective under pressure.
