    11-Oct-2018 Fund Assistant Department Fund Management Location Washington, DC Position Summary The principal responsibility of this position is to provide support to the Fund Management Managed Accounts team responsible for the administration of global separately managed accounts to clients across Carlyles business segments. This position must be able to prioritize multiple competing tasks, under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment. Auto req ID 1040BR Qualifications 0 - 2 years relevant work experience or equivalent work experience Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a deadline oriented environment with a positive attitude and high energy level 4-year college degree, preferred Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel Strong organizational and time-management skills Effective, professional communication skills, both written and oral Respect for confidentiality of sensitive information Business Title Fund Assistant Key Duties/ Responsibilities 1.Providing support for all aspects of the fund close process. Includes investor onboarding, compliance and tax documentation management and posting relevant documents to the investor portal; 2.Providing support for the capital call, distribution and quarterly reporting processes. Includes updating investor reporting website, sending investor notifications and responding to numerous investor follow-up communications; 3.Assisting with the maintenance of entity formation and management; 4.Providing support for the partner transfer process. Includes coordination between Carlyle teams, external legal counsel and investors; 5.Coordinating meetings and conference calls with a variety of parties, including investment teams, investment committees and investors; 6.Coordinating efforts with peers within other Carlyle teams to ensure efficiency and consistency. Specific areas of coordination include Salesforce, ELM for entity maintenance and compliance, Share Drive maintenance, KYC/AML with legal/compliance, LP Connect.
