THE OPPORTUNITY

Three Ships is seeking an experienced SEO Outreach Associate to help promote our content across the web.  The SEO Outreach Associate will assist in managing up to half a dozen external partners. As our senior health business continues to scale, the SEO Outreach Associate will be part of an expanding team that will continue to provide growth and opportunity.

• PROSPECTING

  • Identify targets to reach out to

• OUTREACH

  • Perform high-quality and effective outreach at scale to a list of qualified opportunities based on campaigns, production schedules, and internal and client performance targets
  • Maintain CRM, update prospect accounts based on different stages of link acquisition 
  • Identify best practices for scripting, cadence, follow-up methods, etc. and apply to future initiatives to improve link acquisition rates
  • Ensure outreach adheres to the 3S code of conduct and is consistent with 3S branding and marketing guidelines
  • Build relationships with outreach target websites and create win-win partnerships

• SEO RESEARCH / EXPERIENCE

  • Page analysis -- Identify high value pages for link building initiatives 
  • Keyword research -- Provide list builders with relevant keywords to target

• PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Evaluate goals for each outreach campaign and create a tailored strategy designed to achieve a specific definition of success. Each strategy should include proposals for workstreams, staffing, timing and cost of execution.
  • Measure and be accountable for the progress on and success of your outreach efforts; track and report against all metrics related to tactics, response rate, and links gained
  • Implement new ideas and processes to increase link yield and efficiency

WHAT IT TAKES

• Ownership mentality
• 1-2 years in an Off-Page SEO role with high velocity outreach experience
• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or Business.
• Experience managing and building a team
• Highly effective communication skills
• Advanced backlink analysis skills (Ahrefs junkie?) a strong plus
• Ability to analyze data and measure effective performance
