THE JOB (THE BIG STUFF):
- Ability to work in a Agile Development work environment.
- Experience in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) programming environment.
- Evaluating, coaching, developing and motivating the programming team, conducting Performance Appraisals at quarterly intervals.
- Working with the Programming Manager in developing and reviewing quality assurance standards and ensuring adherence throughout the organization.
- Prioritizing technical issues as well as programming efforts and communicating resolution times as needed.
- Supplying technical support for complex issues relating to core system and enterprise applications.
- Making recommendations and actively participating in project teams. Providing leadership and IT analysis in solving business problems.
- Scheduling and planning complex IT project conversions and cutovers upholding Credit Union uptime standards.
- Drafting technology plans and requirements for business needs.
- Ensuring proper encryption and security of all data housed in systems and being sent from and received by RCU staff to outside vendors.
- Developing user friendly and functional GUI interfaces for assigned programming tasks in response to end-user input.
- Utilizing various web authoring tools such as Javascript, Node, React, C#.net to accomplish business initiatives.

- Advance knowledge of information systems project management methods and procedures.
- Knowledge of programming and system integration techniques.
- Knowledge of current supervisory techniques and methods.
- Ability to supervise and coach employees.
- Ability to work weekends and late nights when needed.
- Ability to interact and communicate with outside vendors.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with a diverse group of people.
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment.

Required Experience
ADDITIONALLY, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field and 5 years of progressive experience in the development and modification of applications.
