    Job Description

    ROLE Tradeshift is looking for an experienced Billing and  Revenue Analyst to support the adoption of ASC 606 and implementation of an advanced revenue recognition tool, RevPro, as well as the daily billing of our Saas and Professional Service revenue lines.  

    WHAT A DAY IS LIKE:

    • Review sales arrangements to validate bookings and ensure proper billing attributes are recorded in our ERP and/or billing tool/application

    • Manage and update all billing ledgers and reconcile existing subledgers such that orders and associated billings are captured correctly for ASC 606 application

    • Support the adoption of new application based tools and help implement new processes and procedures to streamline Order-To-Cash with a focus on revenue recognition and billing completeness

    • Build relationships and liaise across business groups including finance, sales, sales ops and legal

    • Perform month/quarter/annual close activities which include flux analysis, calculating metrics, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliation, preparing reports and resolving issues as needed

    • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules related to revenue; support month end close

    • Assist in the continued effort to adopt new process and procedures for adoption of ASC 606, focusing on acquired billing tools and the use of specialized revenue recognition applications such as RevPro, SFDC/CPQ and FinancialForce

    • Help with designing and implementing processes for special projects as needed

    • Support external audit readiness and requests as required

    YOU’RE PERFECT FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU:

    You have practical and working knowledge of revenue recognition accounting standards ASC 605 and ASC 606 a plus. Experience using NetSuite, SFDC/CPQ desired.  Experience in utilizing Zoura’s RevPro a definite plus

    YOU ALSO HAVE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related

    • Experience at an enterprise software company with both product and service revenue; SaaS/subscription highly desirable.

    • 3+ years of accounting experience

    • An ability to efficiently provide high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong analytical skills, problem solver, detailed oriented and appreciation for accuracy

    • Ability to communicate complex scenarios and topics in a clear and ingestible manner

    • Accountable and able to work independently to achieve deadlines

    • Strong Excel skills required / Google Doc skills a plus

    • Comfortable working across global time zones
