YOUR WORK FALLS INTO FOUR PRIMARY CATEGORIES:

1. UNDERSTAND AND COORDINATE M+ FORECASTING EXECUTIONS

• Understand the customer's need for each execution

• Manage the forecasting execution timeline

• Conduct walkthrough sessions of execution results with users as required

• Lead the execution of PI deliverables in UAT before Prod deployments and Mnemonic versions

• Collect and validate execution inputs

• Catalogue and Document Mercury+ Prod execution inputs and Reports

2. MONITOR SYSTEM'S EXECUTION IN PRODUCTION

• Use automated and other tools to detect any problems in the operational environment

• Proactively communicate with technology and business to resolve operational problems

• Implement automation requirements and other technical enhancements

3. FIRST-LINE REQUIREMENTS VALIDATION

• Actively seek opportunities to continuously improve the quality of systems and processes.

4. ANALYSIS AND COMMUNICATION

• Perform designed or ad-hoc analysis in a rapidly changing and moving environment in order to support capital markets trading desks.

• Clearly craft and articulate messages (both written and verbal) related to Finance and Technology to a variety of audiences

• Seek and design ways to automate tasks; ideally using Python or other programming languages.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in financial industry; preferably mortgage-related

• 5+ years of experience with analytical tools: SQL, Python, Excel, and similar

• Good knowledge of Fixed Income and/or Finance Analytics

• Experience in interfacing with and/or supporting mission-critical applications

• BSc in Finance, Computer Science or similar
