    • Internship - Project Management & Writing Marketing Intern Vacancies Full time Other Denver Transamerica We currently have two opening within the Marketing Operations Team for a Summer 2019 internship. One position will be focused on project management and the other will be focused on writing, both job descriptions are posted below. Job Title: Marketing Operations / Project Management Intern Job Description: The Marketing Operations intern will assist multiple segments of marketing operations: project management, workflow management and agency management. Transamericas internships are short-term work experiences for a designated period of time that allow college students the opportunity to observe and participate in the professional work environment, to explore how his/her interests relate to possible careers, and to gain practical experience in an industry relating to their field of study. Responsibilities: * Support marketing managers with collateral aggregation and tagging of various product lines: mutual funds, life insurance, long term care, 401k and annuities. * Support workflow management team in maintaining and regulating marketing workflow processes and systems. * Support print and distribution management team in maintaining and regulating marketing distribution systems. * Support agency manager in coordinating marketing activities sent to external creative agencies. * Other duties as assigned based on needs Qualifications: * High level of visual attention to detail, and strong communication skills both listening and articulating solutions * Capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams * Strong work ethic and ambition to learn and succeed * Desire to work in a team environment * Working knowledge of current workflow software is a plus but not necessary (Workfront, StyleLabs, CMax) * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite Requirements: * Currently pursuing a bachelors degree at an accredited college or university. * Prefer junior or senior level candidates * Must be eligible to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship after graduation * Must be currently enrolled in a college or university actively pursuing a degree. Candidates who have already graduated or will be graduating prior to the internship are not eligible. Job Title: Creative Marketing Intern Writer/Editor Job Description: The Creative Marketing Intern will assist in writing and editing marketing content, including education and sales materials, blog posts, emails, and social media posts. Subject matter will vary but can include financial and insurance products, health topics, retirement resources, and Social Security planning. Under the direction of a content lead, you will assist in crafting engaging, inspiring, and educational content for our clients and partners. Transamericas internships are short-term work experiences for a designated period of time that allow college students the opportunity to observe and participate in the professional work environment, to explore how his/her interests relate to possible careers, and to gain practical experience in an industry relating to their field of study. Responsibilities: * Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to understand project requirements to create a concept and provide content ideas * Write, edit, and update marketing materials for financial advisors, insurance agents, retirement plan sponsors, and retirement plan participants * Maintain Transamerica brand consistency throughout work to ensure corporate guidelines are met * Other duties as assigned based on needs Qualifications: * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite * High level of attention to detail, and strong communication skills both listening and articulating solutions * Familiarity with AP style * General knowledge of financial services * Experience with social media platforms, specifically Twitter and Facebook * Capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams * Strong work ethic and ambition to learn and succeed * Desire to work in a team environment Requirements: * Currently pursuing a bachelors degree at an accredited college or university. * Preferably candidates who are juniors or seniors * Please supply a portfolio for review; electronic, URL, or printed for discussion in interview * Must be eligible to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship after graduation * Must be currently enrolled in a college or university actively pursuing a degree.
