    Key Responsibilities Include:

    This person will be on the front lines answering inbound warm leads, educating potential members, and enrolling their pets in a policy. The role also includes taking inbound calls from members requesting to cancel their policy and attempting to retain them as members. Success in this role is based on your individual performance, and monthly bonuses are eagerly awarded when sales goals are met and exceeded – all while you help cats and dogs live longer healthier lives.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years of successful sales in a high-volume business-to-customer sales environment

    Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

    • Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, SharePoint, and Dynamics CRM
    • Fluency in Spanish or Quebec French is a plus!
    • Ability to multitask
    • Ability to learn quickly in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
    • Highly organized and driven by results

    • Adaptable to rapid growth and change
    • Property and Casualty licensing: Trupanion provides coursework and paid study time during the first three weeks of P&C training for specific states in the US. There are two attempts to pass the test. There is a $1500 sign-on bonus for currently licensed candidates

    Flexible Work Locations:

    At Trupanion, we believe in a flexible workplace! We know that talented pet-loving professionals are everywhere. This position allows you to be fully remote and we can hire in all states except Georgia unless you already hold an active Property & Casualty license in that state. You must be able to have a reliable/stable connection to the internet through hard-wire Ethernet.

    Schedule:

    • This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week. While schedules are set without rotation, this position requires availability on both weekend days. Shifts range between the hours of 11:00 AM PST to 10:00 PM PST.
    • During the first seven weeks of training, employees work Monday - Friday between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST.

    Compensation:

    • The base pay for this position is $18.69 an hour on a full-time schedule. Along with the hourly pay, Trupanion employees may be eligible for uncapped monthly bonuses based on individual performance.
    • We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
