  • Responsibilities

    SUMMARY

    The Trust Associate- Operations will process a wide variety of transactions. The Trust Associate- Operations must be aware of impacts to customer statements while processing. The Trust Associate- Operations will have daily contact with the Trust Company outsourcing partners to initiate requests and work through issues.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate and track corporate action elections

    • Monitoring DDA account for incoming and outgoing activity

    • Complete Daily Bank Deposit/Sweep reconciliation and wire processing

    • Ensure transactions are properly processed according to policies and procedures

    • Process a variety of cash transactions including receipts and disbursements.

    • Submit requests on a daily basis to the trust company outsourcing partners via forms, online requests, e-mail or phone calls. Interact with outsourcing partner to follow up on requests and resolve any issues

    • Distribute Daily Reports

    • Set up and maintain financial advisor access to online system

    • Scan, image, and index documents into document retention software.

    • Additional duties and special projects as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel. The ability to create and maintain spreadsheets is required.

    • Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) on the phone and in person as appropriate for the needs of the audience; uses excellent grammar and possess courteous and efficient phone and office etiquette; effectively conveys information.

    • Managing one’s own time and priorities to ensure the meeting of deadlines.

    • Skilled at finding and using traditional and creative methods of solving the problem.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates Degree preferred.

    • 1+ years' related experience in the finance industry or related field required.

    SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGY

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
