Prosperity Bank is seeking to fill the position of a Full-Time Residential Appraisal Processor at our Dallas, Camp Wisdom banking center.

The Residential Appraisal Processor will be responsible for ordering various appraisals and evaluations for Bank using the Interagency Guidance of Appraisal Guidelines and Uniform Standard of Professional Appraisal Practices.

THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES OF THE POSITION ARE: 

1. Order and engage appraisals following USPAP and bank appraisal regulations for residential appraisals and residential and commercial evaluations.
2. Assist with the determination of appraisal choices based on the complexity of a transaction, type of real property and the market in which the property is located.
3. Perform compliance reviews for residential appraisals and residential and commercial evaluations.
4. Accept, deliver and administer the Dodd-Frank Regulations from the TILA Higher-Priced Mortgage Loans Appraisal Rules and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) Valuations Rule.
5. Maintains a general knowledge of lending policies.
6. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of appraisals, bank appraisal regulations and USPAP.
7. Familiar with various regulations… Reg. H, Reg. Z, Reg. B.
8. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required Experience

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or equivalent       

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Prefer prior experience engaging, reviewing or preparing real  property valuations.

Prior experience in a financial institution helpful.

Prefer familiarity with residential and commercial real estate and/or general loan documentation.
