Qualifications: Responsibilities The Community Development Corporation intern will assist in building a better body of data and evidence around the impact strategy for the next New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) application, enhancing the impact evaluation efforts with community development entities, and providing a lift to the impact data audit necessary to move forward in measurement efforts. The primary role of the intern will be to: * Partner with the Community Development Entities application team to drive consistency across project narratives of portfolio investments * Code portfolio NMTC deals for outcomes, outputs, metrics/qualities that are tracked through current Community Benefits Agreements (CDFI partners, rural, underserved, MWBE, etc.). * Run regressions analytics on a variety of community outcomes and outputs to identify trends * Communicate findings and recommendations to community development teams Skills & Qualifications * Pursuing a Masters level degree, preferably an MSW, MBA, MPH or other relevant program with a research focus * Experience with a wide range of diversity and inclusion efforts and an understanding of national best practices * Strong acumen in social science research and engagement in diversity and inclusion topics * Experience with statistical analysis software, specifically SAS and R, to explore data and perform analytical analysis * Effective written and verbal communication skills within a business context * Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills * Ability to think and work independently with a professional demeanor and receive dynamic on-the-job training * Indisputable work ethic with a hands-on approach defined by a strong intellect, professional charisma, leadership skills, resiliency, and a track record of proven results * Skilled at utilizing Microsoft Office Suite Explore your career possibilities at U.S. Bank and join a company thats as passionate as you are about helping our customers meet their goals and making a difference in the communities we live and work.
