About the Elavon Innovation Lab The Greenhouse The Innovation Lab (The Greenhouse) is designed to act as an idea incubator and accelerator focused on developing technology based services and solutions in collaboration with customers, partners, start-ups and industry experts. The Greenhouse is an environment of creativity where the team has the tools and focused time to evaluate specific challenges and test viable solutions with cutting-edge partners. Our objectives are to: accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies into operations; create a culture thats more conducive to innovation and informed risk-taking; and develop institutional capabilities to make innovation more strategic and systematic, in Elavon. About the Internship We are looking for innovation roles that must engage peoples heads, hearts, and hands. We are looking for people with an intellectual and emotional commitment who can and will contribute their time and talents. What they do to help our organization innovate should make sense intellectually for them (head), it should be something they are passionate about (heart), and they should be able to execute in their rol e (hands). The greater the commitment of head, heart, and hands you have from each person, the more likely you are to succeed. You must be comfortable taking risks. Failure is an inevitable outcome and will occur; if you are not failing, you are not innovating. As an intern at The Greenhouse your responsibilities will mainly be to assist the team in completing advanced technology proof of concepts. This could include tasks like assisting in design sprints, researching emerging technologies, developing visual design elements and collaborating with other interns on projects. If you are currently studying these topics, you would probably be a great fit!
