    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and analytical Benefits Operations Analyst to join our global and centralized HR Operations team. In this role, you will be a key player in supporting the operational execution of employee benefits programs across the organization. You’ll focus on ensuring data accuracy, streamlining processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory

    requirements. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a collaborative environment, and has a strong operational mindset.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Act as a subject matter expert on the day to day operations of health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans.
    • Analyze, audit, and reconcile benefits data across systems (e.g., HRIS, benefits platforms, vendor systems) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve escalated benefits issues and service disruptions.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA.
    • Identify trends and process inefficiencies, recommend and implement process improvements including opportunities for automation.
    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, workflows, and process documentation.
    • Generate regular and ad hoc reports on benefit metrics, enrollment activity, and plan performance.
    • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, integrations and new plan launches as needed.
    • Support annual enrollment processes in various locals, including testing, data audits, and coordination with vendors and internal teams.

    Basic qualifications

    • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • 2 years of experience in benefits administration, with a strong focus on operational processes and data management.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration platforms (e.g., Darwin, Workday, ADP, PeopleSoft).
    • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, ability to work with large data sets and perform root cause analysis.
    • Solid understanding of employee benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to convey technical concepts to non technical audiences.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
    • Proven experience in a centralized HR or shared services environment is a plus.
    • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, macros).
    • Experience with benefits reporting and compliance filings.
    • Knowledge of project management or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 73,400.00 to 109,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
