    Job Description

     

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

     

     

    As a Technical Artist, you will work in close collaboration with artists to establish and enforce technical standards for art assets

    You will also assist in debugging assets and provide general support for the art team, including shaders and lighting.

     

     

     

    • Provide technical support and guidance to the environment art team
    • Debug asset issues in the game engine
    • Modify existing shaders and author new shaders as requested by artists
    • Perform performance optimization to ensure levels are authored in an efficient manner
    • Use and propose tools to produce the best possible results and incorporate them into the project’s game engine
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

     

     

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

     

    • Intermediate experience in video game production or equivalent

    • Experience with a content creation software such as Maya, Blender, Photoshop, ZBrush, and Substance Painter

    • Experience implementing 2D and 3D assets in real-time engines, such as Unity3D or Unreal

    • Knowledge of the limitations of game engines and associated production needs

    • Knowledge of physically based rendering workflows and constraints

    • Experience authoring and modifying shaders in either node-based systems or HLSL
