    Job Description

    Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry is currently seeking a full-time MANAGER, PERFORMANCE MEDIA.  The ideal candidate is a strong team leader and adept at leading paid social, programmatic and/or retail media campaigns. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, and he/she should be very familiar with media buying utilizing standard self-service platforms.

    The role includes the management of 2 media managers and reports to the Director, Performance Media. The performance media team is part of a fast-paced, high visibility, and high demand marketing team and project management, organizational, and critical-thinking skills are essential for success.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Effectively lead and guide team with long-term strategy and hands-on execution guidance
    • Bring thought-leadership to Ubisoft’s paid social, programmatic and retail media strategy. Guide the strategy & tactics by contributing to the media planning process, audience and creative strategy, budget setting, industry tracking, test & learn agenda, measurement framework, etc.
    • Strategically manage channel relationships and contribute to the development and refinement of our media channels buying core strategies
    • Actively monitor and evaluate campaign performance in platform, leveraging insights and trends, and provide data-backed recommendations to internal media partners and stakeholders
    • Recommend and execute “test and learn” campaigns to expand on internal knowledge and best practices
    • Work cross-functionally with media planners, analysts, and agency partners to deliver against clear campaign goals and measurement KPIs
    • Present a Quarterly Business Review and share the expertise across the marketing organization (Executive presentations, Brand Management education, etc.)
    • Anticipate trends and keep your finger on the pulse on digital marketing innovation
    • Apply research, identify new market trends, develop POVs, and keep the team informed of new opportunities. Embrace a variety of media/ business topics.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

    • Proven experience as a seasoned manager and effective team leader with strong organizational skills
    • Direct hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns in Video Games, Entertainment, industries sharing similar audiences as Ubisoft
    • Data-driven and experienced using Excel/Tableau or Datorama to gather and evaluate data to inform strategies and optimizations. Able to synthesize and distill complex information to actionable next steps.
    • Confidence and appetite for evolving the status quo are a must
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to articulate and communicate expertise broadly
    • A self-starter who can work successfully on multiple projects in a fast pace and process-oriented environment
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and cross functional collaboration skills a must
    • Knowledgeable of the online advertising ecosystems and the diverse MarTech/DataTech landscapes
