    Job Description

    Ubisoft Entertainment is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative candidate to be our Video Services Department’s Intern. The Video Services team specializes in finishing trailers for distribution as well as creating original Video and Motion assets for internal use and to support our brands.

     

    You will be brought in to help our team on all aspects of the process. Working closely with our Editors and Motion Graphics Artists to learn our workflow and gain hands on experience on what we do. 

     

    We work in a Mac and Adobe Suite environments so working knowledge of both is a plus. We are looking for someone that is also interested in production due to the increase in our creation of original content. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills and be able to take direction while executing tasks quickly and efficiently.  

     

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO 

     

    • Learn our trailer versioning process: how to modify existing content to contain ESRB icons, brand specific logos, Endcards, and encoding of different formats
    • Learn to ingest and organize files and project folders in our servers
    • Assist on film shoots, carrying equipment, setting up lights, audio, etc.
    • Learn how to navigate our JIRA ticketing system to track and execute tickets
    • Use our internal tool to upload finished assets for distribution

     

     

  • Qualifications

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING 

     

    • 1-2 years of editing experience.
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Mac OS, and video formats/codecs.
    • Must be able to take direction and follow through with execution.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Must be organized and have excellent attention to detail. 
    • Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while working closely with clients.
    • Must be able to work independently and also well with others as part of a team.
