Job Description

Red Storm is seeking a TECHNICAL DESIGNER to join our AAA development team.  THE TD acts as a solution finder and liaison between designers and other disciplines. They help shape the architecture for new game systems; as well as create and implement the more complex technical design elements into the game.  Equally, they advocate and shape production efficiency and product quality, primarily for system development and world creation.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Scripting events and cinematics using timelines in unity.
• Design compelling dialogue-based scenes using animation libraries.
• Integrating Cinematics Placeholders
• Validate scenes in the game engine to ensure integrations do not conflict.
• Define implementation plans and coordinate with Level Design for final implementation.
• Generate in-game preview scenes for cinematic production.
• Document new features & tools

Qualifications

• Event Scripting
• Theater or Dialog Editor
• Experience with visual scripting such as snow drop, unreal blue prints, or unity playmaker.
• Technical Level Designer
• Narrative Designer
• Experience with Unity
