    Job Description

    Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry is currently seeking a full-time MANAGER, PERFORMANCE MEDIA.  The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing and optimizing campaigns across all paid media channels, including paid social, programmatic, and YouTube. 

     

    This individual will be very familiar with standard DSPs, specifically DV360, AAP, Facebook, Snap, and/or Twitter business accounts.  A thorough understanding of the digital advertising eco-system is a key component of this role.  Experience with digital media strategy & planning is preferred.  The performance media team is part of a fast-paced, high visibility, marketing team, and as such, solid management, organizational, and analytical skills are essential elements of this opportunity.

     

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

     

    • Lead, motivate and develop a team of highly functional & effective performance media managers and be responsible for developing their professional growth
    • Responsible for your team’s portfolio performance across all in-house manage paid media channels, with an emphasis on Paid Social Media
    • Spearhead strategies for platforms you lead. Maintain close relationships with core media channels partners (Google, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.), to deepen partnerships and facilitate opportunities for new product test & learn. Contribute to the development and refinement of QBRs and best practices across our in-house paid media channels
    • Actively monitor and analyze your team’s portfolio performance, leveraging data and platform insights, and apply appropriate optimization recommendations to key media partners to drive KPIs and investment efficiency
    • Contribute to the development of our in-house channel media strategies & tactics and actively participate in core media planning discussions. Work cross-functionally with media planning, audience insights, analytics, and agency partners to develop holistic campaign objectives and KPIs
    • Be an agent-of-change and have appetite for innovation by understanding and anticipating trends – from a media or technological standpoint. Educate and express clear point-of-views for the best use of current and emerging media. Recommend and vet new partners.
    • Build bridges with other Ubisoft departments to find synergies and efficiencies in channel management or reporting (DM, CRM, Audience, EMEA…)
    • Provide optimal budget forecasting and/or allocations recommendations across managed media channels, leveraging first-party and any third-party data, with the focus of achieving maximum reach, scale, engagement effectiveness, and performance efficiency
    • Responsible for creating and approving POs for your media buying channels, and all related monthly billing and invoicing processes

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

     

    • 4-5 years direct experience managing performance digital advertising campaigns focusing on programmatic display & video and paid social channels.  SEO experience a plus
    • Collaborative manager who can successfully develop and grow teams
    • Experience executing and optimizing digital ad campaigns through self-service platforms: DV360, AAP, FB or Snapchat Business Manager, and/or Twitter Ads
    • Data-driven professional: Experience working with internal or third-party analytic software (Google Analytics), Excel, and other analytics tools (datorama, etc.) to gather and analyze data to inform strategies and optimizations
    • Knowledgeable of the online advertising ecosystems and the diverse MarTech/DataTech landscapes is essential
    • Solid oral and written communication skills, with an ability to distill complex information into a digestible format
    • A self-starter who can work independently (management in San Francisco, CA) in a fast pace, multiple projects, and process-oriented environment
    • Effective organizational, project management, and collaboration skills
    • Ability to effectively manage competing initiatives and priorities
    • BS/BA degree or related level of experience __
