As the Electronic Services Specialist I within our Electronic Services department, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks which would include:
- Providing superior Member service that meets RCU service standards and values to Members and employees of Redwood Credit Union.
- Providing general support processing for check and ACH processing.
- Deposit collection return processing.
- Responsible for Branches capture balancing and file transmission.
- Processing adjustments to accounts and loans.
- Processing FRB adjustments and collections.
- Coordinating and balancing exceptions payrolls.
- Monitoring the OPA system. Coordinating with vendor to resolve system issues.
- Processing bill pay requests and foreign collections.
- Researching and resolve Members' problems and complaints.
- Analyze processes and recommend changes for efficiency and service.
Required Skills
WHAT'S NEEDED FROM YOU:
- Ability to work a schedule which will include working on rotating Saturdays.
- Thorough knowledge of PC, internet, spreadsheets, Word, and office equipment operation.
- Basic knowledge of financial services, credit union industry and regulations, terminology, and procedures.
- Basic processing knowledge of checks, ACH, bill pay and MDC.
- Ability to work successfully in a high volume, technically demanding job.
- Ability to work independently, is self-motivated and resourceful.
- Ability to accurately calculate interest and dividends, and make mathematical computations.

Required Experience
ADDITIONALLY, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma plus a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, accounting or closely related filed with knowledge of Branch or back offices functions is preferred. Experience at a financial institution is required.
