Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled VB.Net Developer – Long Term Contract – Detroit, MI - Onsite for one of our clients.

Job Title: VB.NET Developer

Location: Detroit, MI - Onsite

Duration: 6 months+ (Contract To Hire)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced VB.NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain Windows/Web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in VB.NET and the .NET framework, along with database and application support experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using VB.NET
• Work with business analysts to understand requirements and implement solutions
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and testing activities
• Support existing applications and resolve production issues

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in VB.NET
• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework
• Experience with SQL Server and database development
• Knowledge of Windows Forms / ASP.NET (as applicable)
• Familiarity with ADO.NET
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Experience with version control tools (Git, TFS, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with C# is a plus
• Knowledge of Web Services / APIs
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
