The Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) manages the risks associated with Citi's use of and reliance upon Third Party relationships, including outsourced arrangements, across all business lines and locations. TPRM Program defines and oversees the implementation of policies and standards that provide controls to assess and manage risks related to Citi's Third Party relationships and outsourcing arrangements. The goal of TPRM is to support Citi's selection and management of Third Parties capable of providing products and services in a safe and sound manner and at a reasonable cost and to manage the risks associated with Third Parties. Citi is currently seeking a Business Risk Officer in support of metrics reporting efforts resulting in the publication of the TPRM Monthly Risk Appetite deck. The role requires experience in the Third Party Management filed, specifically is the area of metrics reporting and development to ensure appropriate management of Third Party risk in addition to metrics to gauge effectiveness of TP risk management. The candidate must be able to stay in tune of developments that might negatively impact monthly results and engage respective stakeholders, such as TRPM Sector Leads to address any deficiencies as early as possible. Third-Party Risk Management encompasses external and internal (inter-affiliate) third parties and focuses on practices that are commensurate with the level of risk and complexity of the third-party engagements. The candidate must have a keen eye for analysis of data and able to re-assess metrics to ensure they remain meaningful and actionable. Candidate will work closely with Risk Appetite lead in support of monthly and quarterly Risk Appetite reporting to ORM. RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for managing and reporting monthly metrics (Key Indicators) for the organization
    • Prepares monthly decks and facilitates review with stakeholders.
    • Works closely with business partners on findings and makes recommendations on improving practices.
    • Develops procedural implementation and change management process with Operations and Reporting team to ensure proper governance and controls exist.
    • Monitors exceptions to dispute policy and identifies drivers of exceptions.
    • Leverages data to examine impacts to Customer Experience and Regulatory breaks.
    • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
    • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
    • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 6-10 years relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls
    • MS Excel, MS Power Point a plus. 5+ years' experience in financial services.
    • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
    • Effective organizational influencing skills required.
    • Third party vendor management preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead global team efforts
    • Excellent problem solving skills Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives.

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
