VP COB & CM PROJECT MANAGER Citi's Business Continuity Management organization within Global Operations & Technology Risk & Control (OTRC) is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Project Manager. The Project Lead is accountable for managing projects across the O&T Risk and Control organization. Requires a comprehensive understanding of the multiple facets of project management and how they interact in order to achieve objectives. Defines, deploys, and manages compliance to organizational PM procedures. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of project management services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Applies in-depth understanding of the impact of technical implementations on businesses. Key businesses include risk and control, continuity of business, compliance, data privacy, and information security. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Full project management responsibility including budget and planning, scoping, execution, communication, delivery, quality control, project closure and reporting. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understands how the CoBTrac, iCoBQ, COGNOS systems integrate with overall organizational business functions and processes from a recoverability, planning and testing perspective
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile system development life cycle concepts with an ability to quickly learn a complex, distributed computing environment
• Supports planning, leading, coordination and support of the day-to-day activities of running assigned project(s)
• Ensures compliance with Citi Project Management Policy
• Applies comprehensive understanding of project management concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area
• Ensures creation and signoff of project plan, charter and central project risk and issue logs
• Ensures project plans meet business needs as described in the project initiation documents
• Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities
• Ensures stakeholders understand the project schedule and key milestones
• Ensures project stakeholders receive schedule status regularly
• Ensures project commitment from those assigning resources
• Escalates project risks to the Project Sponsor and Program Manager
• Understanding of technology and development life cycle processes (SDLC, technology operations, business continuity, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6-10 years of experience managing complex projects supporting multiple stakeholders
• PMP certification strongly preferred, Six Sigma a plus
• Risk management and control experience in the following disciplines: information security, continuity of business, data privacy, change/incident management and application development within the financial/banking industry
• Good interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
• High competency in written and oral communication
• Strong meeting organization and facilitation skills
• Ability to handle pressure and prioritize workload
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
• PMP or similar PM qualification
