TD Ameritrade is looking for undergraduate students in the San Diego, CA areas who have completed their sophomore year and are majoring in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Financial Planning, or other business related studies. Travel between sites is not expected. Applicants should have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong interest in analytics, reporting, project management and strategic thinking capabilities. Individuals must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The Technology Product Management team is responsible for advisor-facing technology systems and services. These responsibilities include oversight of the Veo, Veo One and Advisor Client platforms and integration initiatives with third-party technology vendors.

• Support team through product life cycle: Product Conception, Design & Development, Build & Test, Marketing and Support
• Conduct user acceptance testing in support of technology releases as needed
• Help team review user experience of new technology applications and systems
• Administrative tasks related to product marketing and relationship management with third-party technology providers
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic business initiatives
• Manage aspects of projects related to key business programs
• Collect, consolidate, and synthesize information to support strategic decision making process

• Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative or industry related discipline (Economics, Statistics, Finance, Financial Planning,  Information Management, or Marketing)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office products (Access/PowerPoint/Word)
• Strong MS Excel skills (ability to manipulate data and leverage excel functions)
• Ability to analyze and format data in order to produce informative reports
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Detailed oriented and good project management skills
