Aids in the development of safety and health programs, training, and environmental reporting/records management. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assists the Environmental Health & Safety Director with collecting, reviewing, and organizing compliance documentation in accordance with regulatory and Veolias records management requirements. Assist with program development and execution for compliance with regulatory requirements such as OSHA, MassDEP, EPA, and other agencies. Example programs include: confined space entry, lockout tagout, noise, emergency response, etc. as well as environmental programs involving air, water, and hazardous waste requirements. Job Requirements Education: Junior or Senior year Candidate for Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering or related degree. Skills & Experience: Strong organizational skills and an interest in environmental and safety compliance. High level of proficiency with database (Access preferred), spreadsheets, email, and word processing software required; Microsoft Office and Windows preferred. Strong writing and interpersonal skills required. A willingness to acquire new skills and utilize technology to streamline processes and problem solve is essential.
