Intern - Closing Location: Columbia, MO, United States The Closing Department at Veterans United Home Loans is seeking an intern to reconcile recording fees, request and archive supporting documentation, and request refunds for overages where necessary. This position will not be originating loans. Responsibilities: - Reconcile recording fees and title fees (where applicable) collected at closing with disbursement ledgers and/or additional documentation from title. - Receive and audit final documents required to be provided from title companies. - Responsible for archiving legible complete copies of final documents and any applicable refunds issued to Borrower. - Respond to inbound emails and or phone calls related to recording and title fees. Necessary Skills: Attention to detail, dedicated work ethic, ability to multitask and manage time appropriately, exemplary customer service skills, thrive in a highly cooperative work setting, and strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal). Job Requirements: - Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for an internet-based company.
