    Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. We are developing unique and differentiated ways to strengthen the Membership Model by connecting Card Members with Merchants that create opportunities to help drive our growth over the mid-to-long term.

    Description

    We are looking for a product leader to join the Amex Offers Digital Media Product team within the Amex Offers Digital Media team, reporting to the VP, Amex Offers Digital Media Product. The VP, Amex Offers Product, Strategy & Operations will be responsible for the Digital Offer Ecosystem and product management of Amex Offers, a key product used to achieve engagement and revenue goals via targeted offers presented to the right customer, at the right time, in the right channel. This leader will drive the growth of Amex Offers by defining the strategic vision and market positioning of Amex Offers as a product, including the end-to-end experience for both merchants and Card Members. This role will be goaled against the delivery of a comprehensive strategy and multi-year roadmap to unlock merchant funded value and revenue. They will collaborate with Amex Offers platform product teams to own and shape the product roadmap for several digital capabilities (e.g. offer set up, targeting, pricing), as well as being accountable for establishing robust compliance and risk guardrails and ensuring resources are aligned to deliver against business priorities.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Define and execute the strategic vision for Amex Offers to ensure the organization can source and scale the right set of offers and improve the card member experience
    • Lead Offers Operations ensuring accurate and efficient campaign execution to deliver a best-in-class global marketing channel
    • Partner and build relationships with teams across the enterprise to communicate the vision and support the growth of the product
    • Drive enterprise strategy by anticipating competitive shifts, digital innovation trends, and regulatory changes across focus markets
    • Provide executive oversight of delivery, ensuring enterprise prioritization, disciplined execution, and organizational accountability
    • Drive the roadmap, and collaborate across key stakeholders on prioritization, and end to-end-product management for the Amex Offers Transformation workstream leveraging the Value Co-Creation (VCC) operating model.
    • Partner closely with stakeholders across the globe to communicate the product vision and high-level business needs for enhancements with focus on scalability and stability.
    • Lead the design, development, and deployment of offers products + capabilities, collaborating across numerous platforms and function teams (e.g. product, technology, legal)
    • Lead and develop a team of 18+ high-performing Product colleagues across the US, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
    • Ensure compliance across enterprise-level risk standards by conducting thorough risk/compliance processes with proper controls

    Who You Are:

    • Experienced leader with at least 8+ years of experience of Product Strategy or Digital Experience work, with a focus in loyalty / performance marketing preferred
    • Demonstrated success in building, leading, and developing high-performing and diverse product teams
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and encourage partners/stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
    • Proven track record working in digital product management, including launching digital experiences from start to finish,
    • Deep knowledge of loyalty marketing and/or the digital offer ecosystem (DOE) and/or Amex Offers.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with a keen ability to understand and identify technical issues, and come up with creative marketing solutions
    • Significant experience positively collaborating with and influencing partners in a matrixed environment.
    • Ability to manage multiple business and technology workstreams, as well as the strong organizational skills necessary to do so.
    • Skilled in Agile product development methodologies and comfortable with collaboration tools.
    • Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and manage through ambiguity and rapid change.
    • Customer-centric mindset with strong business acumen

    Salary Range: $176,750.00 to $282,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
