    Job Description

    Visa is seeking a Manager of Global Product Communications to help build and execute integrated communications programs in support of Visa’s Innovation Products. This person will report to the Director of Global Communications and gain experience in supporting global and North American campaigns.

    The successful candidate will have experience in B2B technology communications and exceptional project management and editing skills. The candidate should also have interest in key technology and payments trends, including data-driven innovations, security and cybercrime, digital identity, cryptocurrency, and the growing ecosystem of fintechs.

    • CREATIVE CAMPAIGNS: Help develop comms strategies and lead execution of key programs and campaigns, including product news, thought leadership and proactive storytelling.
    • MEDIA RELATIONS: Work with Visa's PR agency of record to generate proactive media opportunities and address reactive inquiries from reporters. Staff interviews and speaking engagements.
    • EVENTS AND SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS: Support event and awards strategy and manage speaker submissions to highlight Visa innovations, experts and points of view.
    • CONTENT DEVELOPMENT: Help develop materials including briefing documents, reactive statements, blog posts and social media content. Experience with paid content placement and development of video assets with the help of content marketing teams is a plus.
    • GLOBAL COORDINATION: Partner and align closely with international counterparts
    • AGENCY MANAGEMENT: Serve as day-to-day contact with external agency team, manage workflow and deliverables, monitor for quality, provide direct and timely feedback and evaluate agency deliverables against goals and objectives.

    BASIC

    • 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA) – the focus of your work has been primarily been related to PR or Communications.

    PREFERRED

    • 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 +years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA) working in PR or communications. 
    • You demonstrate outstanding writing and editing 
    • Aptitude for understanding complex topics and distilling it down for others to understand. 
    • You have a solid ability to manage and drive multiple projects. 
    • Ability to think, plan, and execute both autonomously and as part of a broader team. 
    • You are passionate about the technology and Fintech industry and communicating Visa's role within it 
    • You have prior experience working with large technology companies and matrixed environments. 
    • Agency experience is highly preferred

    This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment (phones and computers), reach with hands and arms,
