Job Description
Visa Global Product Design is comprised of five specializations: Design, Research & Accessibility, Design Engineering, Design Operations and Content Creation & Design Strategy.
Research & Accessibility is looking for an Accessibility Staff Design Researcher to join our team. We believe that great design has the ability to engage and inspire users, and we strive to rethink and redefine how all users interact with Visa's applications and products. Our team members are innovative thinkers and strategic problem solvers who are as analytical as they are creative. We value hard work, accountability and collaboration, and we prize proven skills and team success over personal gain.
In this role, you’ll provide accessibility support for product development teams—testing, solving for and consulting on accessibility issues at all stages of the lifecycle using the company-wide internal standard for accessibility compliance, the Visa Global Accessibility Requirements (VGAR). The ideal candidate has experience in WCAG 2.0/2.1 website/app, mobile web, document and native mobile testing and analysis. You must be results-oriented and have the ability to work independently, prioritizing many competing needs and effectively navigating ambiguity. Candidates be located in one of our Design Research hubs—Austin, San Francisco or Seattle
