    Job Description

Consumers are increasingly seeking new payment experiences that are seamless, frictionless and secure in addition to minimizing their interaction with the checkout experience.  Come join the tap to pay team at Visa to make this happen! The team is leading the US migration to contactless payments working in lockstep with a spectrum of cross-functional teams to ensure a successful migration. This role reports to the head of US tap to pay and will be a key member of the Card Present & Strategic Initiatives team.

    The successful candidate will have broad experience in working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable speaking directly to clients and the ability to analyze complex data sets and turn them into true insights. Additionally, the candidate is a self-motivator and always looking to improve templates, reporting and pitch decks. The candidate is comfortable working on dynamic projects with many moving pieces in addition to having significant time management and organizational skills. 

    The Sr. Associate role is responsible for working in partnership with the cross-functional team and delivering data-driven reports and progress on the contactless migration.

    • Partner with the cross-functional teams, such as Merchant Sales, Finance, Strategy and Marketing, to ensure the US hits their goals
    • Monitor and track progress of merchant contactless enablement and work to optimize the point-of-sale experience across enabled merchants
    • Lead bi-weekly merchant account executive discussions tracking progress for the contactless initiative
    • Support client ad-hoc requests inquiring about contactless momentum and strategy
    • Present to clients on contactless momentum and strategy
    • Participate on global monthly calls and coordinate with regions to get monthly updates for Global reports
    • Partnering with the data science team on improving and automating reporting elements, in addition to determining new projects.
    • Design and create the story for critical internal and external decks to convey the contactless strategy
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Basic Qualificaitons

    Bachelor’s Degree

    • 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
    • Substantial problem-solving ability and an analytical mindset to turn data into insights
    • Demonstrated reporting and analysis
    • Advanced excel experience and PowerPoint required
    • Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
    • Ability to work against tight timelines and a high intensity environment
    • Outstanding team player with the ability to work with and influence people at all levels
    • Advanced knowledge of the U.S. payments landscape, emerging players, business models, and trends is preferred

    Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    This position, in future, may be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
