Job Description
The main function of the GLOBAL SPONSORSHIP MARKETING (GSM) group is to deliver world class sponsorship marketing platforms, consult across the Visa organization as sports and entertainment SMEs, and execute events that drive Visa Brand metrics, Client activation, Product imperatives, and ultimately Visa preference and revenue.
GLOBAL SPONSORSHIP MARKETING oversees Visa’s global sponsorship properties including our long term partnerships with the International Olympic Committee, FIFA and the NFL.
The Manager will primarily support the GLOBAL CLIENT INTEGRATION TEAM within Global Sponsorship Marketing, with additional special projects and support for our property management teams. This position will expose the selected individual to all facets of Sponsorship and is a great opportunity to learn how we use these platforms across the business.
Client Integration drives global activation of Visa’s Global Sponsorships for our issuers, merchants, and strategic partners to build Visa’s business and deepen our client/partner relationships.
This position will work with a varied group of stakeholders across Global, Regional (Hub) and Local Marketing teams. Key relationships include regional sponsorship leads, client marketing (hub/local markets), global sales/biz development teams, product, communications, and innovation teams. Building relationships with these key contacts will be critical to the success of this role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment (phones and computers), reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent may be required to travel 10-20% domestically and internationally. Duration of trip could be 2-3 weeks at a time. Occastionally, the incumbent may need to work outside of normal business hours to support international teams or during peak trave times for events.
