Job Description
The Marketing Manager leads the marketing effort to drive adoption of CyberSource solutions sold through our acquirer channel under their brand. You will develop joint go-to-market programs, business-value messaging, and solution-level materials. We are seeking a B2B marketing professional with a passion for “engineering” a buying/sales cycle and building industry reputation to deliver consistent and efficient prospect engagement and sales close, spanning the entire length of the buyer’s journey.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage marketing budget to generate the agreed ROI
Provide input around roadmap-based content on buyer journey specific to target market
Design and develop partnership-specific content, tools and resources (whitepapers, presentations, webinars, surveys, ROI tools, benchmarking tools, etc.) required at each point in buying cycle (for demand offers and sales enablement).
Manage reviews for localization requirement
Monitor win/loss results and drive changes to selling methodology/message to optimize results
Arm sales with buying stage-relevant tools, training, and messaging necessary to successfully advance the sale from stage to stage
Maintain sales readiness by providing ongoing support and training on “how to sell” solution (working in conjunction with Sales Ops)
Develop and engage with agencies content and stories in support of plan
Act as CyberSource point of contact or SME to address interviews, briefings, etc.
Manage agency performance to plan
Develop GTM plan
Coordinate, strategize and maintain digital marketing channels: web and social media
Liaise with agency to develop ongoing plans and content calendars, coordinate with regional teams to manage ongoing digital marketing efforts
Execute marketing programs in alignment with partnership requirements and over-arching Acquirer Solutions strategy
Coordinate events and workshops in target market
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
4 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
7-10 years of work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 years of experience with a PhD.
10-15 years of product or solutions marketing experience, preferably in enterprise software, BPM, SaaS, Professional Services, or IT industries. Payment services experience strongly desired
Demonstrated ability to assume “business leadership” for CyberSource marketing (championing function/role/objectives), instill passion and appreciation for the true art and science of the marketing/sales messaging and enablement process throughout the buyer’s journey
Strong writing, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to understand complex processes and technologies, and translate into simple concepts (written, graphical, architectural, and verbal). Strong command of Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications. Command of systems like Eloqua, Salesforce, & Tableau a plus
Storytelling… Demonstrated ability to develop impactful, fact-based, sales-usable value proposition stories (requires strong analytical and creative thought processes). Has ability to “see” the unseen story, and generate story from disparate pieces.
Ability to think strategically and develop go-to-market plans, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and develop high-quality tools, collateral, presentations to execute your vision
Demonstrated strong agency management and coordination skills
Proven success in launching products/services and driving more sales
Strong communications skills (written, translating messages into graphic concepts, verbal)
Strong buyer journey and sales enablement orientation— demonstrate buying-cycle-savvy understanding of sales methodologies to create tools which are customer business process-focused.
Demonstrated expertise/attention to analyzing and managing closed-loop marketing/sales processes
Familiarity with eCommerce business process/order management processes and technology desired
