Job Description

The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for managing internal projects within 24m and external projects with 24m partners deploying the semi-solid manufacturing technology across the globe. This critical role will help to define the expansion of 24m’s program management function to enable a matrix organization focused on executing our internal projects and supporting external partners. The candidate will expand our project reporting focused on all technical functions within 24m including product engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, quality, and R&D. Reporting the progress, bottlenecks, and critical issues on all internal and external projects is key. This is a critical role to help lead 24m and its partners to revolutionizing the lithium-ion industry. This role will report to the Senior Director, Production Launch.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Li-ion battery industry
• 5+ years technical project management, product engineering, manufacturing, or quality
• Strong program management skills: able to manage multiple-time sensitive projects with discretion, keep attention to detail, stay level-headed, deliver on-time results, and maintain positive relationships with all affiliated project parties and stakeholders
• Must maintain a lean and effective project management foundation while remaining nimble and flexible to the needs of project team members
• Strong leadership ability – able to lead through uncertainty

Key Responsibilities

• Strengthen 24m’s program and project management functions to closely track, identify, and solve issues within our internal and external projects
• Own external partner project deliverables for all technical functions within 24m including: Advanced Manufacturing, R&D, Product, Operations, Facility Design, Quality, and Supply Chain
• Improve project visualization throughout the company for partner projects and internal projects
• Organize bi-weekly executive reviews to address key achievements and issues across all internal and external projects
• Lead Tiger teams to solve critical issues facing the organization
• Own development and maintenance of 24m’s near and long-term product roadmap
• Work closely with the Advanced Manufacturing team to gain an in-depth knowledge of all 24m processes
• Work closely with the Product Engineering and R&D teams to gain an in-depth knowledge of all 24m products, current and future
• Additional responsibilities as defined by manager

Additional Information

Supervisory Responsibility

• Indirectly manage a team of cross functional technical resources to accomplish strategic goals
• Foster a collaborative but fast-paced work environment across all functions of 24m

Physical and Environmental Standards

• Capable of working in low moisture dry room environment: < 1.0% Relative Humidity (-50°C dew point)
• Capable of wearing clean room attire when working in dry room environment: face mask, hair net, safety glasses, gloves, coverall suit and shoe covers
• Capable of meeting OSHA standards for manual lifting guidelines: < 50lbs
