The ability for a consumer to prove their identity is something we take for granted in the physical world. Authentication in the digital world presents a much more difficult challenge. This role will be responsible for helping to deliver on the overall product strategy and roadmap for our authentication and identity solutions, including FIDO and B2CIAM, and related efforts such as Visa Secure and Digital Authentication Framework (DAF).

Visa is actively seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our global Authentication & Identity team, with a focus on Identity Access Management (IAM). We manage an advanced platform that addresses business to consumer IAM, streamlining consumer login across diverse Visa applications. In the capacity of Product Manager, you will partner with various global product teams to enhance the platform to accommodate the range of their requirements and priorities. Additionally, you be responsible for expanding the platform to ensure uniform and effective cardholder verification as part of our long-term vision. This role will require leveraging advanced authentication technologies, such as FIDO2, to integrate biometric authentication solutions within payments.

Key Responsibilities,

• Work directly with engineering, design, regional product, privacy and legal, and other Visa product teams to define requirements for the product that meet both client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, external clients, and partners, adapting communication style appropriately for the audience.
• Without direct authority, influence stakeholders to execute the product strategy.
• Develop business cases, revenue forecasts, product roadmap, and contribute to the development of sales collateral, operational processes, and client legal agreements.
• Participate as a Visa representative to industry standard organizations, participating in working groups to help define industry best practices or specifications.
• Analyze and synthesize data into content that can be used to define roadmap, prioritization, and product vision and strategy.
• Gather product feedback from regional teams and clients to inform roadmap, prioritization, and product vision and strategy.
• Assist with execution of strategies to drive the launch and scale of Visa’s Authentication and Identity Products around the world.
• Write business requirements for key features which meet client and market needs, define acceptance criteria for requirements.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD)
• 4+ of experience, preferably within a technology or financial services company
• Prior experience managing Infrastructure or platform projects
• Working knowledge of Authentication, IAM or identity

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Must have the ability and willingness to learn
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented, demonstrating understanding of data and product performance
• Extensive cross-functional team experience with demonstrated results
• Experience managing project dependencies, impacts, risks and issues.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Familiar with most program and business management tools.
• Demonstrated quantitative & qualitative reasoning skills through prior projects
• Comfortable working in an agile environment and with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of EMV 3DS, ODIC, Webauthn, FIDO2, OAuth, or similar Identity/authentication standards
• Understanding of payment processing and VisaNet/payment ecosystem a plus

Additional Information

** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 172,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
