Visa Global Design is looking for a creative designer, well versed in video and motion, to join our Content Studio team, which works with internal stakeholders to create web videos, animated shorts, trailers and product demos. We are a diverse group of content creators, storytellers, strategists and design (and payments) enthusiasts who believe content is the connective tissue between our products, our brand and our users. Our team members are innovative thinkers and strategic problem solvers who are as analytical as they are creative. We value hard work, accountability, and collaboration, and we prize proven skills and team success over personal gain.

A qualified candidate will have an advanced knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro and best-in-class animation principles. Knowledge of character animation, video and audio production and Cinema 4D, or other 3D programs, is a plus. The candidate should also possess a deep understanding of typography, color and composition, as well as the ability to demonstrate a range of design styles and stay abreast of evolving design trends. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to prioritize multiple tasks at once. As this is a senior role, the candidate will be expected to represent the team to stakeholders, design peers and leadership.

    Role responsibilities include

    • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of scriptwriters, visual designers and video wizards to craft bespoke videos that meet stakeholder business objectives.
    • Follow animation best practices and contribute motion standards to Visa’s design system for use cases where none exist.
    • Establish video and animation strategy during project planning in support of team leadership and project partners, and work within the established scope to ensure timely delivery.
    • Adapt to the visual requirements of Visa internal teams and third-party partners.
    • Create production artifacts to support the creation of final videos, such as storyboards, custom illustrations and motion samples.
    • Review and critique the team's work to boost quality assurance and ensure motion standards are met in practice.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional team members across Design, Product and Sales and work with Brand, Marketing, Communications and others as needed.
    • Understand the technical requirements of rendering videos deployed to various streaming platforms.
    • Design tailored, customer-centric motion content.

Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
