    Job Description

    Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

    The Strategy and Operations (S&O) team supports the North America VCA team through setting standards, developing foundational processes, assisting with budget and driving operational performance for the consulting organization. This Manager, Strategic Initiatives & Business Operations role will work on strategic, financial, and operational projects.

    As the Manager, Strategic Initiatives & Business Operations you will help enable the team’s growth by analyzing actuals, building budgets, maintaining forecasts, and serving as a strategic partner for the Advisory Service leads and other stakeholders. The role will work closely with Finance, Advisory segment leaders, and Controllership.

    Responsibilities:

    • Structure and build quantitative and qualitative analyses and develop business frameworks linked to our Advisory initiatives.
    • Drive the analysis of the financial impact of scaled solutions, including identifying implications of data and analysis with the team, articulating recommendations, put action plans in place and drive progress.
    • Validate forecasts against actual results, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
    • Identify pricing revisions opportunities for improvement of revenue generation.
    • Participate in the development and tracking of the North America (NA) Practices Annual Operating Plan and other verticals. Analyze and forecast 'carryover' project revenue and reflect it in the AOP baseline.
    • Analyze 'net new'project revenue and reflect it in the AOP baseline. Determine quarter-over-quarter AOP revenue targets. Facilitate alignment with other VCA leaders regarding a finalized AOP plan.
    • Provide Advisory Leadership with insight into the performance of the. Collate input and publish a quarterly report that summarizes business unit revenue, margin, and other performance metrics.
    • Supporting broader S&O team with ad hoc strategic projects that impact the VCA organization.
    • Support the coordination of strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing revenue.

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
    • Master’s Degree in Business
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency in developing executive-level presentations
    • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects
    • Collaborative approach with internal and external partners

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 112,500 to 191,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
