    Job Description

    Visa Direct is a real time global money movement network that enables FinTech’s, Banks, Merchants, and Service Providers to deploy innovative money movement solutions and experiences around the world to over 7B Cards, Accounts and Wallets in over 190 Countries and 160 Currencies. Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfers and remittances, person to micro-business transfer (e.g., payouts to Gig Economy workers, Content Creators, Marketplace sellers), funds disbursements (e.g., Insurance claims, SMB Supplier payments and Government payouts), and more. The global market opportunity is estimated to be more than 90 trillion dollars of payment volume, replacing cash, checks, and slow bank transfers with real-time payments directly into bank accounts and digital wallets.

    The NA Visa Direct Cross-Border Commercialization and GTM team plays a critical role in growing the North American Visa Direct business. The team is comprised of global payments experts with strong analytical skills that are responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive and accelerate Visa Direct cross-border growth across payment rails, use cases and verticals. The team collaborates closely with solutioning and sales teams to help demonstrate the opportunity and value proposition of Visa Direct across priority client segments.

    The successful applicant will be a key team member of the NA Visa Direct Cross-Border Commercialization and GTM team, a motivated self-starter who is exceptional at handling ambiguity and uncertainty and experienced in scaling a business or product through strategic implementation. We seek individuals with a vigorous curiosity to uphold the Visa network as the best way to pay and be paid.

    Key Responsibilities

    GTM Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop GTM strategy including opportunity sizing, market and competitive analysis, value propositions and segment growth recommendations.
    • Leverage your commercial experience to deliver tailored product positioning and messaging that resonate with priority client segments
    • Drive strategic initiatives projects designed to propel cross-border growth

    Sales and Account Growth Enablement:

    • Leverage your excellent storytelling ability to help business development and account growth teams take strategic pitches and client engagements to the next level

    • Proactively Identify, package and present net new growth opportunities, leveraging data, analytics, and market research.

    • Build scalable self-serve sales assets that help demonstrate the client opportunity and ROI in partnership with Global GTM teams

    • Collaborate with marketing, innovation, and communications teams to implement marketing and demand generation campaigns

    • Develop customer success guides to help clients provide exceptional user experiences, enhancing user awareness, adoption, and preference for Visa Direct

    Product Commercialization and Ecosystem:

    • Collect voice of the customer requirements that inform pricing, policy, platform, and ecosystem initiatives to support cross-border growth
    • Support commercialization of new product capabilities that enhance Visa’s cross-border money movement offerings
    • Develop deep expertise in the Visa Direct Technology Stack, Visa’s Digital Assets and Capabilities, and our Processing and Acquiring partner ecosystem.

    This role is responsible for both strategy and execution and will bring a “roll up your sleeves” mentality to the position as you both lead and support a variety of our cross-border growth initiatives.

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Basic Qualifications
    •5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

    Preferred Qualifications
    •6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
    •3+ years of payments industry experience with exposure to payment processing, payment services product management, business operations, or management consulting
    •Proactive self-starter who takes ownership of their own learning and success
    •Excellent communication and storytelling skills (verbal & written) with the ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to a broad audience in an approachable way
    •Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on clients
    •Strong project management and organization with the ability to independently lead and manage complex projects with multiple work streams and cross-functional stakeholders
    •Fast learner and critical thinker, ability to interpret rules and policies and clearly articulate applicability to programs
    •Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results
    •Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 172,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
