    The Operational Excellence Analyst will be a key member in Visa’s Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO), which is responsible for driving meaningful and sustainable change across the many segments of Visa’s business. Broad topics may include, but are not limited to:

    • Helping develop strategies and initiatives that drive step-change improvement in accountability
    • Addressing enterprise-wide organizational improvements to unlock revenue or capacity
    • Identifying areas of opportunity to improve the client experience and accelerate time-to-market

    As an analyst, the individual will be a member of the Implementation and Change practice and will report to the Director, Implementation & Change (Operational Excellence). This person will be a critical player in ensuring the Implementation and Change team executes process improvements that result in operational efficiencies or productivity gains. This person will partner with process owners in the business to ensure changes have business impact and achieve long-term sustainability.

    Key Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will possess hands-on skills to engage with the business to implement LEAN methodologies and facilitate workshops. They must possess excellent communication skills and be well organized. They must be experts in business project management and be able to work cross functionally to implement process improvements across the enterprise.

    Key responsibilities will include conducting Kaizen workshops, documenting business processes or Value Stream Mapping. determining where Visa can gain the most value through business process improvement and engaging with process owners to define new processes to realize efficiencies and productivity gains.

    • Work with process owners to map inter-functional and complex business processes from end to end, conduct interviews with subject matter experts and evaluating existing documentation
    • Lead LEAN methodology workshops, that result in SIPOC and Value Stream Maps
    • Document changes to business processes that will result in faster speed, better quality, and less effort
    • Participate in Problem-solving and process improvement exercises by working with team members and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve speed and quality or reduce effort
    • Partner with business leaders to document improvement roadmap and project plan and build the business case to secure technology or people investments
    • Actively participate in Visa’s Lean Ambassador Network to grow Visa’s overall capability in business process management
    • Partner with other Operational Excellence leaders to build and sustain a culture of improvement and ensure adequate lean capability to support Visa’s continuous improvement needs.

    This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

    Basic Qualifications :

    • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
    • Solid understanding of business process management
    • Lean Six Sigma, quality and process improvement experience. Holder of a Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) strongly preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Visio or equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications :

    • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
    • Previous experience working in a consulting firm as part of an implementation team
    • Excellent process visualization skills and ability to translate process needs to executive presentations
    • Previous experience leading SIPOC and Value Stream Mapping workshops (Kaizen Events)
    • Can document business processes and communicate the process to a business audience not familiar with business process management
    • Strong project management skills, with experience in leading complex process improvement initiatives
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to be effective with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
    • Experience working in a matrixed organization
    • Self-motivated with the ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from management

    Additional Information

    ** Work Hours:** Varies upon the needs of the department.

    ** Travel Requirements:** This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

    ** Mental/Physical Requirements:** This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

    U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 88,200.00 to 112,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
