SE021- Security Professional I ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Corporate Security and Safety Supervisor in helping maintain the companys Corporate Security and Safety program in accordance with VP Corporate Security and Safety directives and in accordance with VyStars Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) protocol. Incumbent responsible for monitoring multiple locations working out of Corporate Headquarters and Service Center locations, and will assist Security and Safety Supervisor at these locations to monitor and troubleshoot security and safety throughout the VyStars ever-growing network of over 38 branches, 9 High School branches, 2 multi storied back office locations (Cascone Building and VyStar Service Center) and its expansive 180+ ATM network. The incumbent must have a good sense of the credit unions needs, products, and responsibilities to its employees and members. Incumbent mans the Corporate Headquarters and Service Center security desk and monitors security throughout the buildings and the respective associated property. Usual hours will be any 8 hour shift between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or adjusted as needed. Alternating Saturday shift required. Incumbent assists the Corporate Security and Safety Supervisor, VP Corporate Security and Safety, in meeting all requirements of VyStars Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Corporate Security and Safety Program. The incumbent is responsible for identifying errors, informing Management, and initiating correction as required. Incumbent is First Responder to medical and security emergencies. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * Operates the main components of the Security Desk.nbsp; Responsibilities include monitoring the Corporate Headquarters and/or Service Center lobby areas and building throughout. nbsp;Assists branch and ATM network management in the monitoring and troubleshooting of security video surveillance and intrusion/fire systems at all the outlying branch, back office and ATM locations * Constant live monitoring of video displays of security cameras, as well as other security systems (i.e. fire and intrusion) at the Corporate Headquarters, Service Center. Conducts re-active monitoring of Branches, and Remote ATMs * Responsible for the access control system of the Corporate Headquarters and the Service Center and 2 other branch location (Riverside and Ponte Vedra),to include encoding, issuance, and tracking of all current and new security badges used for access * Conducts rotating, roving security patrol of the Cascone Building and VyStar Service Center and the respective surrounding property. Maintains radio communication with building security team.nbsp; Provides VP Corporate Security and Safety or Corporate Security and Safety Supervisor nbsp;with daily updates on operational status and incidents * Maintains daily logs of all badges issued and returned, sign in logs of incoming members and vendors, incoming/outgoing packages through the front desk and daily routine activity logs. Maintains a record system of all logs for reference purposes. * First Responder to all emergency incidents at Corporate Headquarters and Service Center. Responds to and assists in real and simulated emergencies.nbsp; Must be able to respond to medical emergencies to include First Aid/CPR/AED (Automated External Defibrillator).nbsp; Coordinates/liaisons on scene with safety agencies (fire, police, and emergency medical) for fire and evacuation drills or other emergency incidents. Must be able to acquire and maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certification. * May assist in disaster recovery simulations and actual disaster recovery operations. Continually assists in updating department Disaster Recovery Manual. Acts on instructions passed down by VP Corporate Security and Safety or Corporate Security and Safety Supervisor. Must maintain active knowledge of Corporate Security and Safety Department and VyStar Credit Unions disaster recovery procedures, and takes inventory of disaster recovery equipment for department. Acts with a sense of urgency. * Assists employees as needed in the entering and exiting of the parking lot areas (manual operation of badge access gates at peak times, if needed). Also locks and unlocks shipping and supply gates. * Incumbent is point of contact for branches regarding security and safety related issues during normal hours of operation. Incumbent may be required to assist in an after business hour emergency response. * Assists the Fraud and Audit departments in collecting and recording video and picture evidence to help with the recovering of misappropriated funds, instances of fraud, robbery, vandalism or safety incidents occurred, or in cases where subpoenas are issued. * Conducts tests on all security and safety equipment, and assists in evacuation drills performed at Corporate Headquarters and Service Center. Responsible for accurate coordination and accounting of personnel and rapid reporting to emergency officials during real or simulated evacuation drills. * Conducts and/or assists equipment checks on all fire and burglar alarms, video monitoring and recording equipment, safety, and access control. * Conducts troubleshooting procedures on security equipment prior to escalation to vendor for further assistance. * Calls in work orders for maintenance on security and safety related equipment with authorization from VP Corporate Security and Safety or Corporate Security and Safety Supervisor. * Works closely with vendors to repair related security equipment to ensure equipment is operational in a timely manner. * Keeps records of security related supplies and equipment and maintains fixed asset inventory. * Works closely with Facilities department and controls vendor access of highly sensitive areas where maintenance is necessary. Works with Facilities manager to control access of vendors, members, and employees to include but not limited to lawn care services, cleaning crews, electrical technicians, etc. * Provides member service direction to visiting members depending on the needs of the member.nbsp; Requires a good general knowledge of VyStar products and services. JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS amp; ABILITIES One year experience in a security related field required. Prior military or law enforcement may be supplemented for one year experience requirement. Class D state licensing in security desired but not required. Strong experience with personal computers and office related software required. nbsp;First Aid and CPR qualification required. Must be able to work independently as required. Effective verbal/written communication and customer service skills required. EDUCATION The minimum level of formal education required is a high school diploma or its equivalent.
