  • Responsibilities

    The focus of the Analyst is to work with business owners to develop and execute EUC solutions to solve business deficiencies and provide technical support to cross-functional teams and management.

    • Encompasses the Tax Services and Government Reporting functions for the department
    • Performs analysis and development tasks for TD Ameritrade’s brokerage applications and systems
    • Understand special agreements and file specifications between TD Ameritrade, third parties, and/or the Client/Advisor(s)
    • Successful and accurate processing and reconciliation is critical to TD Ameritrade’s brand value and Regulatory compliant name it withholds in the industry
    • Provides a mechanism for the department to enhance systems and processes in efforts to remain compliant with industry Regulations as well as make strides in Client value streams
    • Manage towards forecasted and stated project goals
    • Handle issue resolution type of requests where business solutions are required on the fly
    • Interacts with external clients primarily through trade processing or answering business calls/emails

    Responsibilities: 

    • Constant analysis of processes, system changes, third party system changes and specific processing requirements
    • Perform application design tasks of a moderate to high complexity which may require research and analysis
    • Analyze and interpret process information and appropriate setup in TD Ameritrade systems
    • Perform system design and specification development, program logic and flow-charting, testing, debugging, and documentation
    • Works independently and with supervisory review on moderate to highly complex programming tasks. Provides analysis of problems and recommends solutions.  Prepares program specifications and develops coding logic flowcharts
    • Work closely with internal and external business partners to develop risk management tools, processes, and procedures
    • Evaluate errors and assist in identifying sources and remediation of causes
    • Escalate procedural deficiencies and offer solutions
    • Identify, mitigate, and remediate system issues affecting the client/advisor or business units request, inquiry, etc.
    • Providing technology or process enhancement solutions to Management
    • Prepare business partners for change in process in response to system changes or Regulatory requirements
    • Work closely with external business partners to align processes and procedures to benefit customer base

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Series 7 & 63 preferred or able to obtain within 6 months
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • 1 to 3 years Brokerage Experience
    • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
